Are My Candles Good for Me?

By admin | June 12, 2008

After our inaugural post, we received some emails asking if candles are good for you. The simple answer is that there are many things in this world that are much worse than candles but if you are really interested in the subject of healthy candles, I would suggest that you look at some of the candles sold in health food stars. Many candles on the market contain lead wicks and petroleum so as you can imagine, breathing these things isn’t very good for you. If you want to buy healthy candles, look for beeswax, vegetable oil, or soy based candles. These are virtually harmless and are better for your white walls.

We agree with you that only all natural wax candles should be burned. Good info!
