Next time you visit Alexandria, Virginia, consider paying a visit to Margie Chichelli’s candle store. The story carries 40 different soy-based candles. Unlike the paraffin cousin, soy-based candles emit little smoke or soot which make them perfect for a home. In addition, Ms. Chichelli claims that soy-based candles burn much slower than the paraffin candle.
